প্রত্যেকেই স্বীয় কৃতকর্মের জন্য দায়ী হবে এবং কেউ অন্য কারো ভার বহন করবে না।

 

বল, ‘আমি কি আল্লাহকে ছেড়ে অন্য প্রতিপালককে অন্বেষণ করব? অথচ তিনিই সব কিছুর প্রতিপালক।[১] প্রত্যেকেই স্বীয় কৃতকর্মের জন্য দায়ী হবে এবং কেউ অন্য কারো ভার বহন করবে না।[২] অতঃপর তোমাদের প্রতিপালকের নিকটেই তোমাদের প্রত্যাবর্তন হবে, তারপর যে বিষয়ে তোমরা মতান্তর ঘটিয়েছিলে তা তিনি তোমাদেরকে অবহিত করবেন।’[৩]

 এখানে রব্ব বা প্রতিপালক বলতে সেই উলূহিয়্যাতের কথা স্বীকার করা, যা মুশরিকরা অস্বীকার করত এবং যা তাঁর রুবূবিয়্যাত দাবী করে। মুশরিকরা তাঁর রুবূবিয়্যাতকে তো মানত, এতে কাউকে শরীকও করত না, কিন্তু তাঁর উলূহিয়্যাতে শরীক করত। (অর্থাৎ, তারা মহান আল্লাহকে শরীকবিহীন প্রতিপালক বলে মানত, কিন্তু শরীকবিহীন অদ্বিতীয় উপাস্য বলে মানত না।) [২] অর্থাৎ, মহান আল্লাহ পরিপূর্ণরূপে ন্যায় ও সুবিচার প্রতিষ্ঠা করবেন। ভাল ও মন্দ যে যা-ই করবে, সে সেই অনুযায়ী প্রতিদান ও শাস্তি পাবে। সৎকাজের উত্তম প্রতিদান এবং অন্যায়ের জন্য শাস্তি দেবেন। আর একের বোঝা অন্যের উপর চাপাবেন না। [৩] কাজেই তোমরা যদি তাওহীদের এই দাওয়াতকে না মানো, যে দাওয়াতে সকল নবীরা শরীক ছিলেন, তবে তোমরা তোমাদের কাজ করে যাও, আর আমরাও আমাদের কাজ করে যাই, কিয়ামতের দিন আল্লাহর সমীপে আমাদের ও তোমাদের মাঝে ফায়সালা হবে।

 

Say, ‘Shall I seek a Lord other than Allah? He is the Lord of all things. [1] Each will be responsible for his own deeds, and no one will bear the burden of another. [2] Then you will return to your Lord, then He will inform you of what you differed about. '[3] ]

 Here, to say Rabb or Lord is to acknowledge the Uluhiyyat which the polytheists denied and which claimed his Rububiyyat. The polytheists used to worship his Rububiyyat, they did not associate anyone with it, but they used to associate with his Uluhiyyat. (That is, they believed in Allah Almighty as a partnerless partner, but not as a unique deity without a partner.) [2] That is, Allah Almighty will establish perfect justice and righteousness. Whoever does good or evil will be rewarded and punished accordingly. Give good reward for good deeds and punish for wrongdoing. And do not impose the burden of one on the other. [3] Therefore, if you do not accept the call of Tauhid, in which all the Prophets participated, then you do your work, and we do our work, on the Day of Resurrection there will be a decision between us and you in the sight of Allah.
