[১] ইসলামে ব্যভিচার যেহেতু বড়ই অপরাধমূলক কাজ; এত বড় অপরাধ যে, কোন বিবাহিত পুরুষ অথবা মহিলার দ্বারা এ কাজ হয়ে গেলে, ইসলামী সমাজে তার জীবিত থাকার অধিকার থাকে না। আবার তাকে তরবারির এক আঘাতে হত্যা করাও যথেষ্ট হয় না, বরং নির্দেশ হল, পাথর মেরে মেরে তার জীবনের পরিসমাপ্তি ঘটাতে হবে। যাতে সে সমাজে (অন্যদের জন্য) শিক্ষণীয় বিষয় হয়ে যায়। সেহেতু এখানে বলা হয়েছে, ব্যভিচারের কাছেও যেয়ো না। অর্থাৎ, তাতে উদ্বুদ্ধকারী উপায়-উপকরণ থেকেও দূরে থাক। যেমন, 'গায়ের মাহরাম' (যার সাথে বিবাহ হারাম নয় এমন বেগানা) নারীকে দেখা-সাক্ষাৎ করা, তার সাথে অবাধ মেলামেশার ও কথা বলার পথ সুগম করা। অনুরূপ মহিলাদের সাজ-সজ্জা করে বেপর্দার সাথে বাড়ী থেকে বের হওয়া ইত্যাদি যাবতীয় কার্যকলাপ থেকে দূরে থাকা জরুরী। যাতে এই ধরনের অশ্লীলতা থেকে বাঁচা যায়।
